It was good to be at home today, because it meant that I was able to get out into the beautiful sunshine at lunchtime. I took Nic to the park to eat an ice-cream, which made me very happy. Also, it was definitely maxi dress weather today, so I dressed accordingly:

Other than that, I haven't got much going on. Last night I led the Sew Make Believe crochet workshop. It was really good fun, but I did get a wee bit flustered as it has been so long since I taught! Everyone was very encouraging and I think most of the students enjoyed themselves. I'm really looking forward to our book group in a few weeks' time.
As always, I am internet window-shopping and here is what I've been eyeing up...
Disaster designs Owl bag:
Actually, I bought this yesterday after finding it at a bargain price here. I don't need it, but I'm very excited about it arriving!
I'm also thinking about buying these which I have in black. They only have them in a 4, though, and I bought those new shoes the other day...so, I don't know. Maybe not. I'm going to give it some thought.
I'm a big fan of both keys and birds in designs, so I'm also thinking about buying this from Eclectic Eccentricity
It's pretty, isn't it?!
Anyway, my tummy is growling so I'm off to make some dinner. Tonight we're having halloumi and lentil salad, a recipe from the Domestic Sluts. I've got a nice few days ahead also - we're off to the pub tomorrow night to celebrate the lovely Sugar Plum's birthday, and tomorrow at lunchtime I'm meeting Louise for the first time. If the weather holds, Nic and I are off to Stratford on Saturday to have some Barnaby's chips by the river. In fact, we may go even if it rains and have the chips in the cafe, they're just as tasty indoors.
On that thought - it's time for dinner.
