Dressember Day 3
Evening all! It's Saturday, and I have to keep this short as Louise and Peter are on their way round for an evening of films, mulled wine, chilli and nachos. Yes! After yesterday's magnum opus of suckitude, I woke up this morning feeling much better. I decided yesterday that I wouldn't go to the Clothes Show, and instead spent the day resting and chilling out, trying to get rid of the flu. I am actually feeling much better, apart from a sore throat. To be sure, I am a bit sad to miss out on the Clothes Show fun, but I think it would have wrecked me.
Nic and I were able to get out into the sunshine for a walk in the park and to pick up some groceries for this evening.
I found this dress on the sample rail in the Fever shop earlier this year and I've worn it a few times. I love the colour, but the fabric wrinkles and I think it makes me look a bit matronly. It doesn't help that I'm squinting into the sun a bit here, and that I'm still not feeling 100%. I kind of hate this photo, guys. In my mind this dress is all cute and Joanie-esque on me, but in real life I just don't think it does anything for me. So I think it's time to make some room in my wardrobe and get rid of this dress. Does anyone want it? It's a size 10 - let me know in the comments if you fancy it, and we can come to some arrangement.
Anyway - needless to say, I also had to put on a coat, although it was mild enough to not have to bother with tights.
I hate this photo slightly less, and I love this coat. I also adore these shoes, and I am pleased to report that the good folks of Leamington Spa do too - I saw so many people smiling at them and checking them out. Seal claps, folks. Seal claps.
Okay - I'm going to tip on out. I'll be back tomorrow with another dress - but if you feel that you'd like to make this one your own, hit me up in the comments!
